Our Site

Our 50-acre site was donated by local businessmen and designed by Glen Day - Alan Blalock Golf Design. The facility features a six hole, 1,147 year, par 24 executive length golf course, a 3-hole short course and complete practice facilities. All tees and fairways are U-3 Bermuda and greens are 328 Bermuda surrounded by strategically placed bunkers.
The driving range is 365 yards long with a 60,000 sq/ft triple tier teeing area.

Our Directions
From I-540: Take Zero Street Exit. Turn Left onto Zero towards Barling. Drive past Rheem Manufacturing plant and take a right on 45 Highway. Continue on 45 Highway and turn left on Geren Road and follow it to the entrance to Ben Geren Park. Enter the Park and follow the road watching for The First Tee of Fort Smith sign on the right. After turning into The First Tee of Fort Smith facility, follow the road to the top of the hill (do not stop at the green maintence building) and the Bagby Learning Center parking lot. Chapters can develop partnerships with golf courses in addition to their learning facility locations to provide access to course play and to deliver The First Tee Life Skills Experience.  Affiliates are an efficient way for Chapters to expand access and program locations and to increase involvement from the local golf community. The ultimate goal is to impact more young people through The First Tee Life Skills Experience.
