RBS Scholarships You know the ones. The participants you watch blossom in The First Tee Life Skills Experience. Perhaps the ones who through no fault of their own have had to deal with difficult situations, but they’ve come through them by applying what they’ve learned through The First Tee. This is the program designed for those special individuals: RBS Achievers of the Year Awards. The RBS Achievers of the Year Awards are given to participants of The First Tee who have overcome challenges in their lives by upholding the Nine core Values. The selection committee chooses one male from each of the seven regions. Fourteen recipients are selected as semifinalists, and each receives a $1000 scholarship to be used at the post-secondary institution of his/her choice. Two semifinalists will be selected as finalists (one male and one female) and will be awarded $10,000 scholarships.

The designation of Scholar brings with it eligibility for scholarship opportunities available both within and outside The First Tee network. A Scholar of The First Tee exhibits leadership and abundant community service, along with academic excellence, while continuing to contribute to their local Chapter of The First Tee through mentoring and/or tutoring opportunities. Scholar’s program applications are accepted once per year from seniors in high school who meet the requirements.
