Wal-Mart First Tee Open at Pebble Beach Josh Tomlinson was recently selected to participate in The Wal-Mart First Tee Pebble Beach. Josh was one of the 90 boys from The First Tee learning facilities worldwide that took part in The First Tee selection process at Kansas State University and Colbert Hills Golf Course from July 14-18. Josh was one of the 90 participants that was chosen based on his life skills and golf skills knowledge.
Josh has been apart of The First Tee of Fort Smith program for 4 years and has moved all the way up to Ace level. He brings leadership and great life skills to The First Tee of Fort Smith. He is the first ever participant selected to compete in the Wal-Mart First Tee Open from The First Tee of Fort Smith.
His pro that he played with during the tournament was Dave Stockton, who has 24 career wins on the PGA and Champions tour. He is well known around the tour as being one of the greatest putters of all time. Stockon has won 2 majors on the PGA tour and 3 majors on the Champions Tour.
